Another trick to clean the porcelain sink is to apply lavandina (chlorine) on the sink and leave it covered with paper napkins for one night. The next morning, remove the paper, rinse the sink and wipe it with a cloth for easy and trouble-free cleaning.

Be sure to do this in a ventilated area (or open a window) to prevent inhalation of the steam from lavandina (chlorine).

Never place lavandina (chlorine) on old or colored porcelain, as it can damage the color or any type of wood or metal element attached to the porcelain.

Vinegar is also considered a good ally to clean porcelain sinks, since it serves to remove watermarks. Cover the sink drain and fill it with hot water. Then, add 1 or 2 cups of vinegar and let it stand for 3 or 4 hours.
